Happy New Year

I hope everybody enjoys the year of the rabbit.
Be sure to check which year you were born in.
I'm a dragon.

  1. I was born in the Year of the Ram. The character for dragon is 龙 (Lóng).

Actually, that's the simplified character. I like the original character for dragon, because it looks like a dragon: 龍

Oddly, the Japanese simplified it in a different way: 竜

  2. Hi Emma, Eric was born in the year of the Rooster. Roosters are considered to be honest, bright, communicative, ambitious and warm-hearted.

I was born in the year of the tiger (growl). Tigers are strong, independent and noble. That's me. haha.

I couldn't find ram; just sheep, but read this! The sheep is among the animals that people like most. That sounds just like Boom.

Now about you. The dragon enjoys a very high reputation in Chinese culture. It is the token of authority, dignity, honor, success, luck, and capacity. Sounds like you were born under a good sign.
